Ful #01-02 2011

Ful's first issue in English wants to stand as a contrast to the white neonationalistic movement that is massively spreading through Europe. The ideas and actions of closing borders, neglecting humanity and constantly accentuating conservative white straight ways of living. This issue is our comment, our resistance.

In Ful 01-02 2011 we meet Jesus in India, white men in Sweden and a sentimental Russian musician from Canada, working in Berlin. We talk to Ellen Nyman, Johannes Paul Raether, Konst & Teknik and Tanja Ostojić, all artists and activists working with issues concerning racism, migration and borders.

Ful’s Malin Holgersson investigates expressions of androgyny and goes astray among desire and the dream of a non-gender society, Ful's editor Nasim Aghili finds out what happens when white theatre salons are invaded by the Other and Johanna Frid reveals the difference between a techno club and a nation state.

We also get an excerpt from the coming anthology Modern Homophobia by Andy Candy, art work by Cecilia Germain, Shabnam Faraee, Anna Sandgren and LAND-INSTITUT and poetry by Mette Moestrup and Gloria Anzaldúa.
